The Amazing Spider-Man photos give us another look at The Lizard

The Amazing Spider-Man

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is one of the upcoming summer movies that I was sort of dreading, then started looking forward to with curiosity and now I’m becoming a little bored with it again. Maybe it’s because we’ve seen so many new photos or trailers for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN or maybe it’s because these new shots of The Lizard are making me a little skeptical. Either way, I’ll be glad when this film is finally released so I can make a final decision as to whether Andrew Garfield is a better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire was. I’m still not sold on Mr. Garfield as the infamous web-slinger, but I won’t count him out just yet.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN follows Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), a teenager just trying to make it in this crazy world while trying to find the truth about why his parents disappeared when he was just a kid. When he finds a clue as to why they left him, he uncovers more than expected which may lead him on a path to his possible demise. Though I really doubt it, he is after all the amazing Spider-man.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is directed by Marc Webb and stars: Andrew Garfield (Spider-man/Peter Parker), Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy), Dennis Leary (George Stacy), Rhys Ifans (Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard), Martin Sheen (Ben Parker), Campbell Scott (Richard Parker) and Sally Field (May Parker). THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN will hit theaters in 3D on July 3, 2012. Check out the new images below. Oh, and if you just can’t wait until July to see some more action from THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, you can catch a six-minute preview at the beginning of MEN IN BLACK III only in IMAX screenings. However, you will have to sit through MEN IN BLACK III- there’s always a downside I’m afraid. (ComingSoon)
