Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that THE BOURNE LEGACY, from director Tony Gilroy and starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton and Scott Glenn, will be available in a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy/Ultraviolet combo pack on December 11th, 2012.

THE BOURNE LEGACY follows a new hero named Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner) who’s genetically engineered skills will have to come into play because of the trouble with Jason Bourne in the first three films. Now Aaron Cross must play a game of cat and mouse with the government’s intelligence agency to finish what Jason Bourne started.

THE BOURNE LEGACY was probably one of the most anticipated films this summer, and even though it brought in over $112 million at the box office that didn’t quite cover the original budget of the film (estimated at $125 million) which technically doesn’t make it a success. However, it was popular enough that Aaron Cross will probably be brought back for another film or two so if you were a fan then you have no worries that the franchise will die.
