The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has a new poster and image
Despite the fact that THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY didn’t get a whole lot of love from critics and received plenty of complaints from fans, it seems people are still really excited for the follow-up, THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG. Every time I even hint that I didn’t like the film, I get a couple of nasty emails from some die-hard Tolkein fans. To be honest, I think the second film will be a lot better and I’m looking forward to seeing what Peter Jackson has in store for us and hopefully, he can keep this one moving along a little bit better than he did the first one. Today we get a new pic from the film as well as a new poster to get us excited for the December release. Fans will probably be quick to recognize the image as being from the “Barrels of Blood” chapter in the book. (TheOneRing)
