The new poster for Paranormal Activity 3 takes us back to a scary moment in 1988

Posted by: Zack Bruce

I had a blast seeing the first PARANORMAL ACTIVITY in theaters. There was a ton of people there, actually, the showing that I went to sold out rather quickly. The scares were decent and it was fun watching my friends gasp loudly next to me.

Then I went to see PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 when it came out. Not the same effect. Plus any horror film that uses babies for scares bothers me. Sorry I’m so sensitive. When I heard that they were going to do a PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 3, I expected it. Everything comes in 3’s right? This is one is directed by the team who did CATFISH, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. The story “takes place in 1988, when Katie and Kristi were kids. While trying to get video proof of Bloody Mary, Katie and Kristi are first confronted by the monstrous demon haunting them in the first and second movies”. That’s the only info on the plot.

This new poster reflects the upcoming mystery in-store for the two young sisters. It’s basically the same sort of design that you are used to seeing from the film’s posters.
