The Office's Rainn Wilson and Ellen Page bringing Super to Blu-ray

It’s been announced that the film SUPER from director James Gunn and IFC Films, starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Kevin Bacon, Nathan Fillion, Linda Cardellini and Liv Tyler, will be available on Blu-ray August 9, 2011. The film follows Frank D’Arbo (Wilson) whose wife leaves him for a drug dealer and to cope he turns himself into Crimson Bolt, a self-appointed superhero who has good intentions but no real skills. He fights crime along with his sidekick Boltie (Page). The film didn’t have a huge opening and didn’t even gross half a million, but the reviews were decent and the cast is great, so enter at your own risk.

I thought this film looked pretty hilarious and it may just end up being one of those cult classics. After all, that’s what happens to all of Nathan Fillion movies- they turn into classics. No special features have been release yet.
