Tilda Swinton and Jamie Bell are looking to join Chris Evans in Snow Piercer

We just learned that Captain America himself, Chris Evans, was all set to star in Koren director Bong Joon-Ho’s science fiction thriller SNOW PIERCER and when we found out, we were excited for Evans to take on a creative and challenging role. Today we learn that Tilda Swinton and Jamie Bell could be joining Evans in the film as well. The film has political elements to it and follows a group of passengers on a train that are traveling in a post-apocalyptic world where people are divided by class.
The addition of Swinton and Bell reinforce my opinion that this is probably a great script and an interesting film. Whether you like her or not, Swinton tends to gravitate towards challenging roles. Bell is less consistent, but he’s developed into a fine actor after breaking onto the Hollywood scene in BILLY ELLIOT. Filming on SNOW PIERCERS should start in March.
