Tim Robbins joins Mark Ruffalo in Thanks For Sharing

Veteran actor Tim Robbins is crashing the reunion of THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT actor Mark Ruffalo and the film’s writer, Stuart Blumberg in the film THANKS FOR SHARING. The film is about three people in New York City that begin a 12 step program to recover from sex addiction. We know Ruffalo is one of the people in the program, but no confirmation on what role Robbins will play. We can presume he’d be one of the other two, but I can also see him as a psychiatrist or maybe another quirky character somewhere along the way. This film will be the directorial debut of Stuart Blumberg, who also wrote the script. Edward Norton will be producing, but at this point, he is not attached to star.
I’m a big fan of Ruffalo and when Robbins is used correctly, he can make a big impact on a film. But a movie about sex addiction has a lot of pitfalls in it and can easily take a wrong turn if the filmmakers aren’t careful. Hopefully this work out for the best.
