Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Maggie Grace and Peter Sarsgaard star in the upcoming KNIGHT AND DAY and today we get our first look at the trailer. The film is an action comedy in which a woman (Diaz) gets caught up in some sort of secret agent’s (Cruise) mission. The film is directed by James Mangold, who previously directed WALK THE LINE and 3:10 TO YUMA.
If you expect me to take a swipe at Tom Cruise, then you’ve come to the wrong place. I’ve defended the guy through everything and the one thing that is always constant with Cruise is that he’s going to make great movies. Normally, Cameron Diaz is the kiss of death, but this looks like a really fun movie. It’s nice to see Tom Cruise back in action and I like that he’s trying out his comedic side. The film opens July 2nd, 2010.
