Tom Cruise stares at a waterfall in the new Oblivion poster
In five months we’ll get to see another Tom Cruise film (remember that JACK REACHER opens in a couple of weeks), but this time it’s a sc-fi adventure. Today we’re getting a look at the new poster for OBLIVION from director Joseph Kosinski (TRON: LEGACY) and as far as posters go this one isn’t too bad. Below we can see Tom Cruise starring up at a broken city and waterfall with a spacecraft next him, the tagline reading: Earth is a memory worth fighting for. I’m intrigued, how about you guys? OBLIVION follows a veteran soldier who has to travel to a distant planet to destroy the remains of an alien race. An arrival of a traveler forces him to question what he knows about his mission, his planet and himself.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, OBLIVION stars: Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Zoe Bell, Melissa Leo and Andrea Riseborough. OBLIVION opens in theaters on April 13th, 2013. (IGN)
