Tom Hardy, Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway star in the new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises

Holy moly people! If you haven’t seen the new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming finale in the Batman trilogy, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, then stop what you’re doing right now and watch it. Go ahead. I promise you this trailer will give you goose bumps and make you do some fist pumps, because it really is just that good. Tom Hardy as the villain is what excites this writer most, but I’d love to hear what you guys are looking forward to in this movie. If you weren’t looking forward to this film already, and this trailer doesn’t make you giddy- then I just don’t even know what to say to you. Do you even like movies?
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES takes place eight years after the second film, where Batman takes the fall for the death of Two-Face/Harvey Dent and a new villain, Bane (Tom Hardy) is now wreaking havoc in Gotham. Batman (Christian Bale) must now resurface to save the city that has shunned him, and with the apparent help of John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Selina Kyle/Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) he will surely prevail and once again become the hero we all know and love.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard and Juno Temple. This is the third and final Batman film for director Christopher Nolan and it opens in theaters on July 20th, 2012. If this film isn’t already on your must see list then, first off that’s sad, and second you need to go ahead and watch it just because you don’t want to be the lame kid on the block. However, since you’re reading this then I know you’re very intelligent and also want to see Tom Hardy as Bane, so I’m not worried. Watch the trailer below.
