Next week John Hillcoat’s film LAWLESS hits theaters and this new red band trailer gives us a look at the dark side of the film. You know you’re in for some violence when the trailer opens with a bootlegger that has been tarred and feathered and left for dead. Oh, and LAWLESS is another film that showcases what a great villain Tom Hardy makes. Tom Hardy is definitely someone you don’t want to cross, even when you substitute a face mask for a cowboy hat.
Directed by John Hillcoat, LAWLESS follows three bootlegging brothers during the days of prohibition and how they try to avoid getting in trouble with the law. LAWLESS stars: Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Jason Clarke, Dane DeHaan and Noah Taylor. It opens in theaters on August 29, 2012.
