Tom Hardy's Mad Max: Fury Road reveals some plot details

The upcoming MAD MAX: FURY ROAD starring Tom Hardy has itself had a hard, rocky road. There were delays due to scheduling conflicts, severe flooding in Australia that ruined the landscape that was to be used, as well as some casting changes, etc. So it is with great joy that I can report that filming has already begun for MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, which means we’ll all get to see Tom Hardy on the big screen again sooner rather than later.

Here’s the synopsis as given by director George Miller: Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa. This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived.

Alongside Tom Hardy (who is obviously playing Mad Max), MAD MAX: FURY ROAD will star: Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, Nicholas Hoult as Nux, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Immortan Joe, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, Zoe Kravitz as Toast, Riley Keough as Capable and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Splendid. Shooting is currently taking place in Africa with the support of the Australian government. MAD MAX: FURY ROAD is supposed to open sometime next year. (ComingSoon)
