Total Recall: Extended Director’s Cut starring Colin Farrell and Kate Beckinsale coming to Blu-ray in December

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that the sci-fi film TOTAL RECALL, directed by Len Wiseman and starring Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Ethan Hawke, Bill Nighy and Bryan Cranston, will be released in both a 2-disc Blu-ray set as well as a 3-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo pack on December 18th, 2012.
TOTAL RECALL is based on the short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K. Dick and follows Douglas Quaid (Colin Farrell) who goes to a company that is supposed to implant fantasies into your mind. Something goes awry and Douglas discovers that he might actually be a super spy and on the run from some bad guys.
Even though TOTAL RECALL was a remake of the 1990 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, it did ok at the box office bringing in over $58 million at the box office. Unfortunately that is just a fraction of the budget which was estimated at $125 million. Check out the TOTAL RECALL trailer below.
