Transformers: Age of Extinction reveals the first teaser poster

Transformers 4 is officially titled TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION and Paramount Pictures is rolling out the teaser poster to get fanboys excited while they eagerly wait for their childhood toy to hit the big screen once again.  Obviously, the poster is a teaser so it doesn’t give us much.  The Transformers series is sort of an enigma to me.  While I originally thoroughly enjoyed the first installment at the theater, I have found that I have zero desire to ever watch it again.  Of course, the sequel was atrocious and the third will probably never be seen by these eyes.  Despite all the success each installment is able to achieve, I’m not sure I personally know anyone who is excited to see more.  Perhaps Mark Wahlberg will breathe new life into the franchise but lets be honest, the actors are not the stars of these films.  I suspect Michael Bay is gearing the fourth film toward audiences overseas. We still don’t have much details about the plot of TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION, but Michael Bay has mentioned the use of Dinobots and a “Chase from Hell.”  We also know that it will star Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, Han Geng, Titus Welliver and T.J. Miller.  The Michael Bay directed film will hit theaters on June 27, 2014.
