Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas join Robert Pattinson in Bel Ami

Uma Thurman has signed on to star opposite Kristin Scott Thomas and Robert Pattinson in the upcoming film BEL AMI. The story follows George Duroy (Pattinson), a journalist in Paris who rises to the top via connections with rich and influential women. Thurman will play the woman who will later become his wife and Thomas will play another woman in the upper class . The film will be directed by Declan Donnellan and starts shooting next year.
Looks like studios are really taking advantage of Pattinson’s movie (NEW MOON) opening this weekend. Maybe by aligning himself with actresses like Thurman and Thomas he’ll be able to break out of his sparkly vampire role and be taken seriously.
