Vin Diesel and Paul Walker star in the first Furious 7 trailer
I still can’t believe there are seven Fast and Furious films, with no end in sight. The trailer for the seventh film, this time titled FURIOUS 7 has debuted, featuring all of our favorite street racers turned government agents back in action. Of course, the big story with this film is that Paul Walker tragically passed away before the film was complete, which caused it to be delayed. Universal decided to keep the story as-is and enlisted the help of his brothers to finish key scenes. The trailer payed homage to Paul Walker, but we don’t get enough to tell if their plan worked or not. As for the trailer itself; I think if you liked the first six movies, there’s no reason you won’t like this one. I do wish the trailer would have given us some Lucas Black from TOKYO DRIFT. It’s nice to have the series finally acknowledge that film’s existence.
There’s no official synopsis yet for FURIOUS 7, but it looks like the crew has found a new enemy after the events of FAST & FURIOUS 6. FURIOUS 7 stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Tony Jaa, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel and Djimon Hounsou. There’s even a cameo from Iggy Azaela. The James Wan directed film hits theaters on April 3rd, 2015.
