Will Ferrell, Rebecca Hall and Michael Peña bringing Everything Must Go to Blu-ray

Lionsgate Films has announced that the dramedy EVERYTHING MUST GO, from director Dan Rush and starring Will Ferrell, Michael Peña, Laura Dern and Rebecca Hall, will be released on Blu-ray September 6, 2011. The film follows Nick Halsey (Ferrell) an alcoholic who relapses after losing his wife and job and sets up shop on his front lawn in a meager attempt to start over. The film opened in theaters in a limited release and grossed just over $2 million at the box office. Reviews were good and this is apparently a quality film, so keep a lookout for it come September.
Sometimes when comedians try to venture into the world of drama they don’t always succeed (I’m thinking of Jim Carrey in this case). However, I think Will Ferrell is one of those actors who can do just about anything and still come off as this likeable, average guy that most anyone can connect with. I have a feeling EVERYTHING MUST GO is one of those films that will be a gem that most will look over. Special features include:
