Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos make their first official apperance as The Three Stooges

It’s been known for awhile now that The Farrelly Brothers have been passionate about making a big-screen version of THE THREE STOOGES. For awhile pretty big name actors were interested like Sean Penn, Jim Carrey, and Benicio Del Toro then each dropped one right after the other. Carrey was attached the longest but I think that the physical toll that the role of Curly would take on his body was too much for him. Not like it would have been an Oscar worthy part say like Christian Bale’s in THE MACHINIST.
Finally the directors found three guys to take on the roles of Curly, Larry, and Moe. Somehow Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and Chris Diamantopoulos fit the bill for these iconic characters. Sasso is the only one I really get. I don’t know enough about Diamatopoulos to really chime in. There were set photos that showed the characters but they weren’t crystal clear. Finally an official photo of the threesome has emerged.
