I can’t remember a film that had more turmoil, reshoots and drama surrounding the actual filming than MEN IN BLACK 3. For a while there, I thought for sure Sony was going to scrap production all together and just cut their losses, but they pressed on and now we get our first look at the third MEN IN BLACK film. Of course, there was absolutely no need for this one, but it looks on par with the first two, for better or for worse. I’m curious how they’re going to explain the end of MEN IN BLACK 2 since Tommy Lee Jones’s character seems like he’s still an agent, but I’m sure they’ll find some loophole around that.

MEN IN BLACK 3 will hit theaters on May 25, 2012 and stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, Jemaine Clement and Nicole Scherzinger. Barry Sonnenfeld retured to direct the film.
