CASINO JACK revolves around Jack Abramoff (played by Kevin Spacey), an eccentric political mastermind who gets caught up in a mega-scandal with Michael Scanlon (Barry Pepper, also seen in this year’s “True Grit”). While promoting the Indian gambling industry, Jack receives his title nickname, “Casino Jack,” and soon gets caught up with pal Michael in what was “touted as the biggest political impropriety to hit the Beltway since Watergate,” according to the film’s director George Hickenlooper. The movie also stars Kelly Preston, Jon Lovitz and Rachelle Lefevre.
I would highly recommend picking up this film and give it a watch. It’s truly hilarious and horrifying to see what exactly goes on in the world of lobbying.
