Here’s where to find your favorite Game of Thrones actors

WHAT?!  I feel like I say that all the time while watching GAME OF THRONES.  The finale for season 5 was no different.  I’ll spare the shocking events for those who haven’t watched their DVR or who don’t have HBO or who have somehow managed to not open any bit of social media, in which case you are probably not reading this article.  Lets just say that GoT gave us another memorable punch stab in the gut moment that left us sad, beaten and… wanting MORE! Yes, fans know we are a glutton for punishment with our desire for more Game of Thrones.  I have famously (yes, I use that term very loosely) declared Game of Thrones as the greatest television to ever exist.  Now that season 5 has ended and you, like me, will desperately be searching for anything to fulfill the emptiness while waiting a year for season 6, I’ve composed a list of some of your favorite characters/actors and where you can find them outside of GoT.  I’m only going to use characters/actors who were in the most recent season (sorry, Ned, Catelyn, and Robb Stark or Joffrey Baratheon, Tywin Lannister, The Hound and many others).  I’m going to try to stick to more recent past or future projects but might dabble outside the lines in a few places.  Unfortunately, not everyone has a lot going on, which just proves their dedication to the amazing show. The order is a bit arbitrary, but all have a special place in my heart. Obviously due to the impressively large and talented cast of Game of Thrones, only a small percent will be on this list.  Hopefully you’ll be able find your favorites somewhere on this list so then you will know Where To Find Your Ten Favorite Game Of Thrones Actors.

Arya Stark - Maisie Williams in Game of Thrones

Arya Stark – Maisie Williams – Unfortunately, our youngest lead character and fan favorite, still has a relatively low key resume. Otherwise she would definitely be high on this list. I couldn’t bring my self not to have the cut throat cutie pie, so I added her anyway.  You can find the girl with many faces in a handful UK productions in 2015 such as: THE FALLING, “Cyberbully”  (a TV movie), and two episodes of “Doctor Who.”  However, one will be able catch the feisty Stark girl in her first major American production in 2016’s THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA.

Theon Greyjoy/Reek – Alfie Allen – Terrible Theon – Even though you betrayed the Stark’s, we actually have a bit of pity for you as Reek.  Alfie Allen plays another spoiled baddie in 2014’s JOHN WICK.  If you haven’t had a chance to catch this action-packed revenge flick starring Keanu Reeves, I highly recommend it.  He can also be seen in the upcoming PANDEMIC, a non-stop action film from the first person shooter perspective, modeled for the video game generation.

Margaery Tyrell - Natalie Dormer in Game of Thrones

Margaery Tyrell – Natalie Dormer – The reigning queen of King’s Landing has beauty and brains and she’s actually likable. After a few small roles in past films like RUSH, THE COUNSELOR, and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, Natalie is finally getting some bigger parts. Other than the upcoming PATIENT ZERO and THE FOREST, Natalie can be seen in last year’s THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1.  She will be reprising her role, along side her fellow Game of Thrones cast member, Gwendoline Christie, in this year’s THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 2.

Sansa and Baelish in Game of Thrones

Petyr ‘Littlefinger’ Baelish – Aidan Gillen – My favorite “bad” character on the show.  Every move that Baelish makes is so brilliant that I can’t help but like him a little.  He’s someone that truly went from having nothing to becoming an actual player for the iron throne.  A lot of this is due to the actor Aidan Gillen, who I have now found myself enjoying no matter how bad the movie is (BLITZ).  While he might have a string of lesser known 2015 movies: YOU’RE UGLY TOO, SING STREET, and MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS,  I have to recommend last year’s little seen but incredibly compelling CALVARY.  And let’s not forget the man starred in another top five show of all-time, “The Wire.”
