Brad Sturdivant
Founder/Editor
While most kids grow up playing little league baseball and riding bikes, Brad spent his formidable years watching old Marilyn Monroe and James Dean movies. That early exposure to film led to a lifelong affinity for classic cinema and movies in general. Still captivated by all types of film, he spent four years writing articles and movie reviews for various outlets before starting Flix66.com in 2009.

Nathan Swank
Co-founder and Senior Reviewer
Sneaking up past his bedtime to watch horror films that gave him nightmares, ignoring friends' request to go out and play so he could watch the latest Disney flick, and ending a date because she thought a movie wasn't funny, that clearly was hilarious, Nathan tracks his life according to when movies are released. Working at the local video store as he obtained a degree in Journalism and Television Production from Kansas State University, his passion for film eventually led him to writing and discussing movies on a larger scale. He is a proud member of the Kansas City Film Critics Circle.

Kristy Sturdivant
News Editor and Blu-ray Reviewer
Due to the fact that E.T., Dark Crystal and bootleg copies of the Star Wars trilogy were on constant repeat in her youth, it was only natural that Kristy would get a job as a projectionist during high school and while earning her degree in Mass Communications at the University of Central Missouri. The stars aligned when she met the perfect guy who not only loved movies as much as her, but also loved to decorate rooms with movie posters and even proposed to her in a movie theater. Now her days are split between writing for Flix66.com and planning ways to make sure her two boys get the proper education in film so they will be able to understand their parents’ pop culture references.

Rebeca Surber Swank
Blu-ray Reviewer
Falling in love with movies at a young age, the majority of Rebeca’s vocabulary repertoire comes directly from the silver screen. For any occasion, movie quotes abound. While attending the University of Missouri, she acted in several short plays, writing and directing one her senior year. Also during those Mizzou years, she rented movies to her sorority sisters as well as girls in other Greek houses from her vast VHS and slow growing DVD collection. She is still missing SIXTEEN CANDLES.

Aaron Walker
Senior Blu-ray Reviewer
Aaron attributes his lifelong love of movies to his awful allergies as a child. He spent years heavily involved in theater, attended the New York Film Academy, and wrote both plays and screenplays before settling down near his hometown with his high school sweetheart (who showed him the complete STAR WARS Trilogy for the first time sans commercials). Aaron loves working with the folks at Flix66 helping out however he can. Despite attending film school, Aaron still loses himself in movies and absolutely hates the uncomfortable 15 minutes near the end of every romantic comedy.

Jason Kokotoff
Blu-ray Reviewer
A “Jack of many trades,” but still searching for the patience to master at least one, Jason could always count on movies to gain some life perspective. Around age 30, he realized out of all his interests and hobbies, film knowledge had become the one specialty that he didn’t even know he had been studying. Opinionated to a fault, as he’ll still vehemently argue that the Matrix sequels are misunderstood, Jason‘s ambition with a review is to illuminate a small aspect of the film that might entice you to see the entire story in a new light. And if the film is really bad, at least make you laugh once or twice.

Lincee Ray
Disney Blu-ray Reviewer
Lincee enjoys writing about the intricate details that are sometimes left unnoticed in film critiques. These include male shirtless scenes, dance choreography, the lovable nerdy sidekick and romantic kisses that preferably occur in the rain. She has a poster of the GIANT hanging over her toilet, can whistle the robin tune from MARY POPPINS’ “Spoonful of Sugar” and once won a contest at her friend’s eight-grade slumber party by correctly answering, “How does Wesley answer when Buttercup asks him to do something?”

He is a long time member of the governing board of the Kansas City Film Critics Circle, a former Vice-President and currently serves as the organization's recording secretary.

Jeremy Werner
Blu-ray Reviewer
For most of his life, Jeremy has been told he needs to eventually grow up and quit wasting so much time on gory monster movies and nerdy self-debasing comedies, but every year it becomes clearer and clearer; that's not going to happen. Jeremy somehow graduated from an accredited university and spends most of his time, reading, writing and working various radio gigs. He hopes you enjoy his reviews instead of rolling your eyes like his parents do.
