The first time I heard about the film ZOOKEEPER I was disappointed in Hollywood for putting out another film that was surely going to be a mediocre mess. My expectations weren’t high but after watching this trailer I’m just sad. Sad that Hollywood would pull the curtains over our eyes by releasing such a ridiculous film with a formulaic plot and talking animals. Talking animals- hasn’t anyone learned that this tactic does not and never will work? ZOOKEEPER stars Kevin James who is trying to land a girl who dumped him by getting advice from his charges at the zoo. I feel dumber for even watching this trailer.
ZOOKEEPER opens in theaters on July 8, 2011 and also stars Rosario Dawson, Leslie Bibb, Donnie Wahlberg and Ken Jeong. It’s directed by Frank Coraci and is being produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions. Watch the trailer below.
