I feel like Dakota Fanning has broken out of the child-star status, but the talented actress has yet to find that captivating role that establishes her among the A-list actresses working today. THE RUNAWAYS might be the closest, but with her level of talent, she should be in the running for every role that comes along. It seems director Amy Berg agrees with me as she’s cast Dakota Fanning in her upcoming film EVERY SECRET THING. The film is based off the book of the same name by Laura Lippmann and covers some pretty gritty and sensitive ground.
Dakota Fanning and Danielle Macdonald are set to play two girls that were imprisoned at age 11 for murdering a baby and then released when they turned 18. But upon their release, children start to go missing and obviously, the police and the town suspect them. Along with Dakota Fanning and Danielle Macdonald, Elizabeth Banks will be playing a cop assigned to the case and Diane Lane will play the mother of one of the mother to one of the girls.
