Anchor Bay Entertainment and Dimension Films have announced that the fourth installment in the wildly popular Wes Craven horror series SCREAM 4, starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettierre, Adam Brody, Anthony Anderson and Rory Culkin, will be released on Blu-ray October 4, 2011 in a BD/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack. This particular film takes place on the 15th anniversary of the original massacre as Sidney Prescott (Campbell) heads back to her hometown for a stop on her book tour. When she returns the creepy killer Ghostface makes another appearance to taunt the residents of the town.
I admit that one of my guilty pleasures is the SCREAM films and even though they are considered weak horror, they are about as much as I can handle. I’m anxious to see this (hopefully) last film in the franchise, but probably not until they release all four films together in a box set. Special features for the film include:
