Tim Burton and Josh Brolin might team up for the Hunchback of Notre Dame

Everybody knows (or should know) the basic premise of the story of Quasimodo who is the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but wouldn’t you like to see Tim Burton’s take on it? Josh Brolin is spearheading the process of bringing the HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME back to the big screen and he wants Tim Burton to direct it. The writers have been acquired (Kieran and Michele Mulroney), a studio (Warner Bros.) wants to back it up so all Brolin needs is a confirmation from Tim Burton. However, he won’t get that until all the pieces are in place and a script has fully come to fruition, but it’s sounding pretty good thus far and we’ll keep an eye on it. As a side note, Josh Brolin will star in the film and it appears that he will play Quasimodo, which is too bad because Brolin is way too good looking for a hunch back prosthetic.

In case you are not familiar with the story, Quasimodo lives in the tower of Notre Dame and he falls in love with a gypsy who returns his love even though he has a deformity. There’s also a lot of action and grotesque stuff that happens which means Tim Burton is the perfect director for the film.
