With the new year quickly approaching, we are finally getting a look at a couple of posters for some upcoming 2011 films. The first poster is of THE SMURFS, starring Neil Patrick Harris, Sofia Vergara, Alan Cummings, George Lopez and Hank Azaria, it gives us a first look at Papa Smurf, Smufette and some other unknown Smurf (they all look the same from the back). THE SMURFS movie follows our little blue friends as they try to make their way back from our world into their village. THE SMURFS come to a theater near you on August 3, 2011.
The second poster we’re getting to see is for BATTLE: LOS ANGELES, which stars: Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan, and follows an alien invasion that takes place in L.A. BATTLE: LOS ANGELES is set to open March 11 2011. Poor LA, Hollywood is making it look as safe to live there as it is to live in New York. I don’t want to be in either place because there is always something dire going on.
