In four days the world will finally be able to witness the final Batman film from Christopher Nolan entitled THE DARK KNIGHT RISES and this writer is excited for several reasons. One is because Tom Hardy is playing the villain Bane, two is that Christopher Nolan has breathed new life into a franchise and I can’t wait to see how it ends, and three…well quite frankly I’m sick of having to write about all these television spots. Do you realize these three are numbers fourteen, fifteen and sixteen? That’s a lot of publicity for any film. Nothing new is revealed in any of these thirty second trailers and they were basically made to let you not forget what you’ll be doing this weekend, which Warner Bros. is hoping will be seeing THE DARK KNIGHT RISES at least once and maybe twice if you can score tickets.

This is the third and final Batman film for director Christopher Nolan and it finally opens in theaters on Friday, July 20th, 2012.
