Here’s where to find your favorite Game of Thrones actors

Cersei Lannister – Lena Headey – Always reacting emotionally before thinking it all through, Cersei is the paradox of being simultaneously extremely smart and extremely stupid.  She may have had a humiliating close to the season but something tells me her wrath will be fierce. Lena reprised her role from 300 in 2014 with the much weaker 300: RISE OF THE EMPIRE.  The year before that she had a decent turning role in the sleeper horror hit THE PURGE and then again in my personal recommended film, DREDD.  She does a fine job in both films and are a good way to get your fill of the queen mother until February 2016 when she will star in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES.

Kit Harrington in Game of Thrones

Jon Snow – Kit Harington – Snow has turned into the ultimate hero on Game of Thrones and just as the character has grown, so has Harington as an actor. He has become many people’s favorite character, including my wife’s.  While his fate may seem ‘ahem’ questionable, Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) said it best, “He’s prettier than both my daughters, but he knows how to fight.” 2014 was a big year for the White Walker killer, starring in SEVENTH SON, POMPEII, and the well-received HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2.  You can also catch him in the recent UK film, SPOOKS: THE GREAT GOOD and TESTAMENT OF YOUTH.

Daenerys Targaryen - Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones

Daenerys Targaryen – Emilia Clarke – TERMINATOR GENISYS – Audiences will have the opportunity to see their beloved Queen of the Dragons a lot sooner than expected.  Emilia Clarke will be picking up the famous role as Sarah Conner in the fifth Terminator film due out fourth of July weekend.  I’m not sure how good this science fiction film of a played out series will do but James Cameron has given it the thumbs up and I’m betting if nothing else, Clarke is going to kick some major terminator butt…hopefully while riding on a dragon.

Tyrion Lannister - Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones

Tyrion Lannister – Peter Dinklage –  Declared by Flix66 as the greatest television actor of all time for his performance in GoT, Peter Dinklage has perhaps the largest resume but his breakout role was THE STATION AGENT. A  small but critically acclaimed film that I highly recommend.  Last year, he delivered a strong performance in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and next year he will be in MICHELLE DARNELL.  But this summer he will be starring opposite Adam Sandler and Josh Gad in PIXELS.  To be honest, the only thing that has me interested about this Futurama episode rip-off is Dinklage’s hilarious over-the-top performance I’ve seen from the trailer. Greatest. Television actor. Ever.
