Chris Evans, Jamie Bell and more appear in new photos from Snowpiercer

One film that has been flying under the radar so far is Bong Joon-Ho’s English language debut, SNOWPIERCER. Boasting an incredible cast and a very original story, it’s ripe to be one of the sleeper hits of the year. But since we haven’t seen anything from the film yet, we’re still living off the promise of the film and the knowledge hope that the Korean director can translate his success for English speaking audiences. Today we get several new images from the film that clearly showcase the dark tones we should expect.
SNOWPIERCER features an impressive cast, including Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer, Ed Harris, Alison Pill, Ewen Bremmer, Luke Pasqualino, Song Kang-ho, Kenny Doughty, Clark Middleton and Go Ah-sung. Unfortunately, we don’t have a release date yet and the film didn’t make it to Cannes, so we’re still waiting for footage from the film. But SNOWPIERCER should be released some time later this year.
The SNOWPIERCER official synopsis: Based on the French graphic novel “Le Transperceneige,” SNOWPIERCER is set in the year 2031 where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine.
