Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in more images from The Lone Ranger

Yesterday a few new photos were released from the upcoming film THE LONE RANGER, starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, and surprisingly we’re getting three more images. This seems a little odd since the film isn’t hitting theaters until next May, but the studio must have some grand scheme all mapped out. I just hope they don’t release so many photos that we get sick of the film before it comes to theaters. Over saturation for a potential summer blockbuster is a little nauseating (see PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES). THE LONE RANGER is told from the view point of Native America spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) as he recounts the adventures of John Reid, a lawman who turned into a legend.
Directed by Gore Verbinski, THE LONE RANGER stars: Johnny Depp, Armie Hammer, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter (shocker!). THE LONE RANGER and his trusty sidekick Tonto will be riding into theaters on May 31st, 2013. (MSN UK)
