Poor Kristen Stewart has had a rough day. With reports that she was caught cuddling with Rupert Sanders, her director in SNOW WHITE IN THE HUNTSMAN, and them both having to issue statements of apology, it’s just been a rough day. Most likely in hopes of distracting everyone from the upcoming drama between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, it’s been reported that Alex Pettyfer (MAGIC MIKE) will be playing Kristen Stewart’s boyfriend in the upcoming indie film CALI.
CALI follows Mya (Kristen Stewart) and her boyfriend Chris (Alex Pettyfer) who decide to make a fake snuff film to sell for a chunk of money before they leave town. Years later Mya is forced to return to her hometown to save her sister and in the process runs into a bunch of former friends and foes that includes: a former business partner, crazy porn stars, drugged out vet techs and a crazy killing machine donning a cowboy hat. Of course, she also has to maintain her relationship with Chris, so Mya’s in for quite the ride. Directed by Nick Cassavetes, production should start this summer with no set release date yet.
