Nicolas Cage and Drive Angry 3D coming to Blu-ray

Summit Entertainment has announced that the cheesefest DRIVE ANGRY, starring Nicolas Cage, Amber Heard, Billy Burke and William Fichtner, will be released in a 2D and 3D version on May 31, 2011. This will be the first title Summit Entertainment will release in 3D. The film follows a vengeful Nicolas Cage, who escapes from Hell to take revenge on the gang that killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter. The film flopped at the box office, only bringing in just over $10 million and most people thought it was so bad that it was almost good (notice the word almost).

Even though this film will probably be crazy bad, I’m still going to see it because it will have a lot of action scenes and a crazy Nicolas Cage. I love Crazy Nic Cage when he appears in films, it reminds me of the good old days when he did fun films like FACE/OFF, CON AIR and one of my personal favorites THE ROCK. Yes, I know he wasn’t Crazy Nic Cage in all of these films, but this was a really good era for him. Special features for DRIVE ANGRY include:
