Nicolas Cage and Idris Elba in a first look at Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Even though production seems to be in full swing, we haven’t heard a lot of information about the upcoming superhero sequel GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. Directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, we will revisit Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Nicolas Cage) as he makes his way across Eastern Europe to stop the devil from taking human form. Also starring in this film are Ciarán Hinds, Idris Elba, Christopher Lambert and Violante Placido. GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE hits theaters on February 17, 2012.
Pulled from the latest issue of Empire magazine, these shots don’t really show us much of anything which makes you wonder how good the film will be. I think most people didn’t really enjoy the first GHOST RIDER film and didn’t think it deserved a sequel, so it’ll be interesting to see how successful this one is. Will this pull Nicolas Cage out of his slump? Probably not, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for him.
