A while ago we learned that Bradley Cooper was going to be starring in Neil Burger’s DARK FIELDS. The story is about a writer that stumbles upon a drug that makes you smarter and after taking it, he becomes financially and socially successful, only to learn that the drug has harsh side effects. Today we have an unconfirmed report that Elizabeth Banks will be starring opposite Cooper in the thriller. To date, this will seemingly be the first time Cooper has really challenged himself as an actor, so I’m looking forward to this.
Banks is one of those actresses that I tend to go back and forth on. Sometimes I really like her and other times she’s very unappealing. I do like that she chooses different roles and has managed to avoid being pigeon holed in a particular genre.
