A trio of not-quite-famous actors are set to star in A MISFITS’ CHRISTMAS. Brittany Snow (PROM NIGHT), Kellan Lutz (TWILIGHT) and Ashley Tisdale (HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL) are set to star as three of eight friends that spend consecutive Christmas Eve’s together. The film will follow each of them as they grow up, experience life and eventually grow up together.
Twilight fans will have to help me out on this one; is Lutz one of those characters you swoon over? I think anyone that appears in the Twilight films for any amount of time gets lavish praise and attention from Twilight fans, but I don’t know if he’s one of the big ones or not. I’m a fan of coming of age films, so I’m intrigued by this, even if it doesn’t necessarily have “star power”. However, eight friends is a lot to cover in 90-minutes to an hour, so I don’t know how first time writer-director Michael Tabb is going to manage that many characters.
