Zooey Deschanel sings in a clip from Disney's Winnie the Pooh

On July 15, 2011 Disney will release the upcoming film WINNIE THE POOH which is, of course, based on the popular characters from the The Hundred Acre Wood. They have gotten actress Zooey Deschanel (YOUR HIGHNESS and ELF) to sing a couple of songs in the film and we have a clip of one of the songs below. The story follows our friends in The Hundred Acre Wood who are rallying together to fight an imaginary foe who may be after Christopher Robin.
I think getting Deschanel to perform with her band (She & Him) for this film is actually a good fit. After watching the clip below it seems like her aesthetic matches the tone of the film and has a nice upbeat feeling to it. Deschanel will be performing three songs in the upcoming film including the theme song “Winnie the Pooh”.
