Will Smith may team up with the Wachowskis for Hood

I feel like I missed some memo where all of Hollywood became up in arms about the classic tale of Robin Hood and wanting to retell it over and over again. Warner Bros and the Wachowskis are currently working on a script for a modern day version of Robin Hood and Will Smith is one of the names that has been thrown out there to take the lead. This is still in the very early stages and Smith may not be the guy, but it does look inevitable that another Robin Hood film will be made.

The Wachowskis are of course awesome filmmakers as they proved with THE MATRIX, but they can also have some major flops like SPEED RACER. It’ll be interesting to see their take on the classic tale, but take heed, we won’t really know what they have in store for audiences until their movie opens in theaters because those two are very tight lipped.
