Michael Bay unleashes the Transformers Dark of the Moon trailer

Love him or hate him, Michael Bay knows how to get people excited. Even when it’s for something ridiculous, he manages to tell it in a fashion that makes you want to know what’s going to happen next. Such is the case with the teaser trailer for TRANSFROMERS: DARK OF THE MOON. It doesn’t show any footage from the actual film, it’s just a long teaser for the third film in the franchise, but in typical Bay fashion, I bet this cost more than 90% of the films that will be nominated for Best Picture this year. And we only got about 2 minutes worth of actual footage.
The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and Frances McDormand and, of course, is directed by Michael Bay. TF3 hits theaters everywhere on July 1st, 2011. Watch the trailer here.
