Russell Brand, Jennifer Garner and Greta Gerwig in a new trailer for Arthur

A new trailer for the upcoming remake ARTHUR, starring Russell Brand, Helen Mirren, Jennifer Garner and Greta Gerwig, has come out and it actually looks a little bit better than the first. Why better? I think it’s because they actually added in the love interest (Gerwig) for Arthur, therefore making him look like much less a whiny, spoiled brat. That can really go a long way. The film follows Arthur, a rich playboy with no responsibilities who decides to go after true love instead of marrying a lady for business purposes. ARTHUR hits theaters on April 8, 2011.
I don’t know if this makes me want to see the movie more, but it definitely doesn’t make me not want to see it. A vast improvement if you ask me. Plus I think Gerwig and Brand make a bit of a cute couple, they look like they may have some good chemistry on screen. Of course I could just be really optimistic.
