Logan Marshall-Green to play Noomi Rapace's love interest in Prometheus

Ridley Scott’s upcoming sci-fi film PROMETHEUS (which was formerly known as the ALIEN prequel, but has nothing really to do with the ALIEN franchise except for a “thread of DNA” that will connect it) has landed another cast member in Logan Marshall-Green (DEVIL). Marshall-Green is set to play a character named Holloway who is a crew member on the ship and love interest for Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace). The storyline for PROMETHEUS is being kept a secret so although we don’t really have a clue of what it’s about, since it has Ridley Scott as the helmer and has the slightest connection to one of the best sci-fi films of all time, it will probably be pretty good.
PROMETHEUS is set to hit theaters on June 8, 2012 and also stars: Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Kate Dickie, Sean Harris and Rafe Spall. Shooting is taking place right now in Toronto.
