30 Rock's Katrina Bowden will probably get eaten in Piranha 3DD

Katrina Bowden, who is most known for her role as Cerie in the hit television show ’30 Rock’, is the latest ~~victim~~ actress to join the cast of PIRANHA 3DD. She will join other actors including: Danielle Panabaker, Matt Bush, David Zoechner, Chris Zylka, Meagan Tandy, Paul James Jordan, Hector Jimenez, Jean-Bilodeau, Adrian Martinez, Clu Gulager and Gary Busey in the campy sequel to PIRANHA 3D. Unlike the original film that was a little bit star-studded, this sequel isn’t quite getting the cast that I would have hoped. In fact, Bowden and Busey are the only two that I even recognize and I wouldn’t really even known Bowden if I didn’t watch ’30 Rock’. The film follows the little flesh-eating fishies as they take over a water park called The Big Wet Water Park (clever name) and chomp into the visitors. PIRANHA 3DD opens in theaters on November 23, 2011.

I thought PIRANHA 3D was a chessy good time at the theater, but there’s about a 90% chance I will not be catching this sequel. Part of the reason I enjoyed the first one was because of the “stars” on board (Richard Dreyfuss, Elisabeth Shue, Ving Rhames and Jerry O’Connell), I’m sorry but I don’t think Gary Busey is a big enough name to get me in that theater seat.
