Jason Segel, Ed Helms and Judy Greer in the Jeff Who Lives At Home trailer

At this point in their careers, Jason Segel and Ed Helms have pretty much guaranteed that I’ll see any movie they star in. And although everything about this trailer says we should like it, I can’t help but feel like it’s all too familiar. We have a perpetual slacker/underachiever, who meets up with his seemingly successful brother that’s living a life that’s anything but perfect. Then they bond as they start to deal with actual, big problems, leading to their solving of the underlying issues between them. But this time around the characters are all played with charm, so maybe we’ll see something different.
The film is directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, who previously directed CYRUS and BAGHEAD. JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME stars Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer, Susan Sarandon and Rae Dawn Chong. The film hits theaters everywhere on March 16th.
