Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde are on the run in the new Deadfall trailer

Eric Bana seems to be spacing his films out and has only released one a year for the past couple of years. This year the Eric Bana film of choice is a thriller crime drama entitled DEADFALL. It’s probably a good role for Eric Bana because it puts him into a different kind of role than we’ve seen him (namely a villain role), but I prefer to see him as a good guy whenever possible because he just looks so nice and someone you want to sit down and chat with.
DEADFALL follows siblings Addison (Eric Bana) and Liza (Olivia Wilde) who are on the lamb after a casino heist that has gone terribly wrong. After getting into a car wreck in a blizzard, the brother and sister split up and Liza is picked up by Jay (Charlie Hunnam) who is on his way to a Thanksgiving dinner at his parents (Kris Kristofferson and Sissy Spacek) home. Things start to unravel as it turns out Chet (Kristofferson) is a retired sheriff and pieces of the puzzle start falling into place. DEADFALL is directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky and also stars: Kate Mara, Jason Cavalier, Alain Goulem and Allison Graham. DEADFALL will be released in a limited run on December 7th, 2012.
