Christina Hendricks to star in Struck By Lightning with Glee's Chris Colfer

If she had done more movies, I think Christina Hendricks would have definitely made my list of the Ten Most Beautiful Actresses in Film History. But unfortunately, she’s only had a handful of film roles and is still best known for her work on ‘Mad Men’. But she’s slowly making her way to the big screen and she’s taken another step in the right direction with the indie flick STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. She joins Chris Colfer, Sarah Hyland, Allison Janney and Dermot Mulroney in the film about a teenager that dies after getting struck by lightning and then tells the story posthumously about how he blackmailed certain people to contribute to a literary magazine. SAVED director Brian Dannelly will be directing this as well, establishing himself as the go-to director for post-death stories.

The film is actually written by Glee’s Chris Colfer as well, marking his screenwriting debut. It’s a good thing he has the ability to write since Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced that he wasn’t bringing Colfer back for a fourth season.
