Paul Bettany joins Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie in The Tourist

A couple of weeks ago, there was scuttlebutt around the internet that Johnny Depp’s girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis, (question: what do you call someone you live with and is the mother of your kids, but not your wife?) supposedly demanded that Depp drop out of THE TOURIST because she was afraid Angelina Jolie would steal her man. Well, so far there’s no truth to the rumor and Depp is still very much attached to the project and now he and Jolie will be joined by Paul Bettany and Rufus Sewell. The film is about an American man (Depp) that travels to Paris and is caught up with a mysterious woman (Jolie). Eventually, they become entangled in a world of danger.
The cast sounds great and I’m looking forward to this. Bettany and Sewell will make good additions to the cast, which was already impressive. The film is directed by Florian Henckel.
