Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill debut a hilarious trailer for 21 Jump Street

I had little to no hope for the theatrical adaptation of the famed 80’s TV show 21 JUMP STREET. Sure, I was pleased that Jonah Hill got the chance to make it since this was his passion project, but the idea of him and Channing Tatum together, recreating the show, just didn’t sit well with me. But consider me converted after watching the first trailer. Not only does it look hilarious, but it has a very SUPERBAD-ish vibe to it, but with more action and even bigger laughs. The one concern is that we’ve seen all the best parts in the unusually long 3-minute trailer. But this is officially one to keep on the radar.

The film stars Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Dave Franco and a cameo from original star Johnny Depp. Chris Miller and Phil Lord are directing.
