I don’t like to speak in hyperbole when it comes to superhero movies because honestly, they’re all running together with little style or substance separating them.  But something feels different about CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and this might be the best trailer for a superhero movie I’ve ever seen.  Maybe I’m just a sucker for anything Captain America, but this trailer looks incredible.  I saw more heart and emotion in this two minute trailer than I did in the entirety of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and ANT-MAN combined.  Not that they were bad movies, it’s just more of a testament to how great this trailer is.  In the original comic story, Steve Rogers dies and while I don’t think Marvel will do that this time, I can’t imagine everyone makes it through to Infinity War.  War Machine and Hawkeye are the two that are probably safe to make plans in 2017.

The film has an all star cast featuring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen and many more that aren’t technically confirmed, such as Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman (we see Black Panther in the trailer, but I don’t know if we’ll see him without his suit) and Tom Holland (again, we know Spidey will cameo, but we don’t know about Peter Parker).  Check out the greatness of the new trailer below.
