Christian Bale, Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett in new photos from Terrence Malick's Knight of Cups

Terrence Malick has been a very busy guy lately. Though he was known for releasing films years and years apart, these last couple and upcoming few years have him shooting more films than one can keep track of. Maybe it’s hard to keep them straight because so many of them have working titles that change sporadically and overlapping actors (Christian Bale specifically), or maybe it’s just tough because he keeps so many of his scripts under wraps that we don’t even know which film is which film or who has signed on to which film, etc. Very confusing, right?
Anyway, today we’re showing you some images from his upcoming film KNIGHT OF CUPS (I’m positive about this one) which features Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Cate Blanchett, Wes Bentley and Isabel Lucas. I wish I could tell you even a small fraction of the synopsis of KNIGHT OF CUPS, but I and no other writer out there can because of course it’s top secret. All we know is what we can glean from the images, like Cate Blanchett must work in the medical field, either or that or she likes to dress in medical scrubs. Oh, and Natalie Portman and Christian Bale must be in some kind of relationship since we’ve seen them frolicking on the beach and below they are riding in a convertible together. See how fun guessing can be? KNIGHT OF CUPS has no current release date, but I wouldn’t expect it to see the light of day until at least 2013, if that soon.
Thankfully we can all get our Christian Bale fix this summer when he will star in the final installment in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, which opens in theaters on July 20th, 2012. Who knows how long we’ll have to wait to see him in KNIGHT OF CUPS. (DailyMail)
