Christopher Nolan and Zach Snyder begin the search for Superman

Posted by: Kristy Sturdivant

With the comic book craze in full swing it’s no surprise that the Man of Steel will finally get his due, or reboot in this case.  It has been reported that Christopher Nolan, Warner Bros and director Zach Snyder are on the hunt to find an unknown actor in the 28-32 age range to don the tights of one of the most popular characters in the comic universe.  The studio and Snyder are in no hurry to find the perfect Clark Kent/Superman but because of some rights issues they must try to start production as early as next June.

For all of you aspiring actors who remember the big money Brandon Routh got for SUPERMAN RETURNS (about $1,000,000) don’t get your hopes up because this new guy won’t get nearly that much, but he will be the next Superman-isn’t that enough?! I thought Brandon Routh was a good Superman, but in Hollywood he’s old news and ’tis the era for rebooting franchises.
